Call for Papers
Virtual Times International Multidisciplinary Law Journal (VTIMLJ) – a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal – invites original and unpublished manuscripts from students, academicians, researchers, legal professionals, and practitioners across the globe.
We are committed to publishing high-quality, innovative, and impactful scholarly work that fosters dialogue across various domains of law and intersects with fields such as technology, economics, policy, social sciences, business, human rights, and more.
Acceptance Criteria
Acceptance is granted to works that demonstrate academic integrity, innovative insights, and adherence to submission guidelines.
Word Limit
- Article on existing law/Bill/Proposal Review– less than 5000 words
- Case comments– less than 5000 words
- Book Review– less than 3000 words
- Long Article – More than 3000 words
- Short Article – Less than 3000 words
- Interview – less than 5000 words
Originality and compliance
Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. All manuscripts must align with the journal’s ethical standards, publication policies, and author declarations.
Plagiarism and AI content
All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin. As per UGC guidelines, the acceptable similarity index is not more than 10%.
Citation Guidelines
The journal strictly follows the Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st Edition) for all legal citations and referencing.
Submission Schedule
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the calendar year
Publication Schedule
Upon successful peer review and editorial approval, the manuscript will be considered for publication in the next available issue, unless expressly communicated otherwise by the editorial team

Peer reviewer
Eligibility: Subject-matter experts, researchers, or professionals from any field. Prior peer-review experience is an advantage, though not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate submitted manuscripts for quality, originality, and relevance. Provide constructive feedback within the review timeline. Maintain confidentiality and objectivity in the review process

Eligibility: Undergraduate or postgraduate students from any discipline. Interest in academic writing, editing, or publishing. Prior publication or editorial experience is beneficial but not mandatory
Responsibilities:
Assisting in preliminary review and formatting of submissions. Supporting citation checks and proofreading. Coordinating with authors and editorial advisors.

Eligibility: Open to students and recent graduates from any discipline. Strong interest in academic publishing, legal and policy research, or content development. Good communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the editorial team with research and content review. Assisting in journal outreach, webinar support, and digital presence. Receiving a certificate upon successful completion of the internship.
